The Accused was charged and prosecuted at the Chief Magistrate Court of Kampala at Buganda Road.

The Accused was arrested in Nwoya District and taken to Nwoya CPS and was later transferred to Kampala CPS. The Accused was found to be in possession of specimen belonging to animals categorized as protected species contrary to the laws of the country.
