The accused persons WO LEMBO ABO Eric and MEFIRE ISSOFA were prosecuted before Court of First Instance, Yokadouma for complicity to killing and illegal detention of trophies of class A totally protected animal species. On the 08 February 2019, the court passed judgement. The accused WO LEMBO ABO Eric was found not guilty of complicity.

The accused persons MEFIRE ISSOFA, WO-LEMBO ABO Eric and MBOA Michel were arrested flagrante delicto in Yokadouma by eco-guards of the MANDOUNGUE control post. MBOA Michel was caught transporting two (02) elephant tusks of length 135cm and 139cm and weight 9.80kg and 19.74kg using a vehicle of mark Toyota Carina belonging to MEFIRE ISSOFA.

Following preliminary investigations by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused OBAME ENDAMANE Jean was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of a totally protected animal species.

On the 06 August 1989, the accused TSANGUE Francois was arrested flagrante delicto in the locality of Oveng. He was found in possession of unmarked trophies of protected animal species without a certificate of origin. At the end of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney together with the seized items for prosecution.

Following preliminary investigations by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused NNANGA Nsolo Simon was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of an elephant. That on September 21, 1988 in Mintom he was arrested for illegal killing an elephant with a firearm, without a hunting permit.

On 13 July 2011, the accused persons NTYAME ENDANGTE Jislin and EVA EVA Mathurin went to the forest in NKOLAFENDECK to hunt. They also invited a certain MOTO David Livingstone to accompany them to carry this act. On the first day of hunting, they killed an elephant.

Messiong Jean Marie was in possession of a hunting rifle of the 458 type with which he wanted to go big game hunting. Discouraged by the regular patrols of the rangers, he sold the gun to Meniamedel Jean Sylvain, a Gabonese living in Mazingo, who promised to give him the money within a short time.

In 2020 at Sembe Village, the ecoguards apprehended Medoulazock Aymar for killing of a panther and commercialisation of skin panther.

On the 28 July 2016, a team of four (4) eco-guards and four (4) members of the community anti-poaching vigilante group, COVILAB organized a field mission based on information received from the hunting zone no.9 of MOLOUNDOU.

In order to solve some financial difficulties, ESSOUKETE KAMBA Hermann, owner of a calibre rifle type BAIKAN and a machine gun type PMAK and together with his police counterpart AMBOULOU Bienvenu, organised a hunting party in the MOKANGA forest, IBAMBA zone, where an elephant was killed.
