On the 21 December 2015, elements of the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve arrested the accused BELINGA Gabriel and EMINI KOUNOU Christian in the forest located in Elig-Edjo, a few kilometres from YEN along the Djoum-Oveng road. They had camped in the forest and were found in possession of elephant meat and tail.

Elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused BIDJO Dieudonné in the said park for illegal detention of hunting guns without license in a protected area and illegal capture of protected animal species.

Elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused BIANDE Patrice for illegal hunting in a protected area, illegal capture and detention of protected animal species, illegal detention of ammunitions, and failure to possess a national identity card at the time of arrest.

Elements of the conservation service arrested the accused SALLA AMOUGOU Benoit for illegal killing of elephants, unauthorized detention and carrying a hunting gun and ammunitions without permit, illegal hunting, no certification of origin to detain elephant ivories and no presentation of a tax certificate to kill elephants.

On the 24 March 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National park arrested the accused persons for trespassing, illegal hunting and circulation.

Elements of the conservation service arrested the accused EYELEKO NGUNI Cédrick for hunting without permit, unauthorized killing and capture of protected animal species, illegal killing of protected animal species and detention and circulation of their trophies. The accused pleaded guilty and acknowledged criminal responsibility.

In August 2015, the accused persons DJADAYE Lucie and ETEME ELOUNDOU Celestin were arrested by elements of the conservation service of the South Antenna, Djoum for illegal killing of totally protected and protected animal species during a usual patrol in that zone.

On the 6 June 2016, elements of the conservation service arrested the accused persons aboard a boat in Campo. They were found in possession of 42 Ivory pieces and upon reconstitution by the elements gave 21 elephant ivories. They all pleaded guilty as charged and acknowledged criminal responsibility.

Elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park arrested the accused HOMBA Ruben for illegal hunting in a protected area and illegal capture and detention of protected animal species. After drafting his offence report, he was forwarded before the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance Kribi for prosecution.

On the 18 December 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Campo’o Ma’an National Park organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the said park and arrested the accused in possession of 02 smoked Blue duikers, 01 fresh Putty nosed monkey, 01 fresh brush tailed porcupine, 01 Mongoose, 01 hunting gun, 34 ammunitions and a torch.
