The accused persons ADAMOU HANAWA and BOUBA OUMAROU were summoned to appear before the court of First Instance Djoum to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting without a hunting permit and concealment respectively on the 01 December 1988 in Lele.

As per judgement in default no. 124/COR of 31 March 1992 of the Court of First Instance Djoum, the accused ADIBEGNI ASSALA Désirées was found guilty of poaching. He was sentenced to pay 25.000 XAF for fines and 15,000XAF for damages to the Ministry incharge of Tourism. He rightly contested the judgement which was admitted by the Court.

The accused persons AFOUMOU EMILE and MOUKO CLEMENT were arrested flagrante delicto in possession of 02 Processed elephant ivories, 01 Processed ivory piece, 03 carved ebony art objects, scraps of ivory from the processed elephant tusks and 02 broken art objects.

The accused persons, AKOULOU Achille Noel, NNANGA Jean Richard, MOUSSA HOUSSANI, ELOM MEYONG Marthurin were prosecuted before the Court of First Instance, Djoum for the Illegal detention of trophies of class A totally protected animal species, and complicity.

The accused AMOUGOU Jean Claude was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance, Djoum, to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species. That on the 1st December 1988, in the locality of Lélé, the accused killed protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting without a hunting permit.

The head of the South Antenna of the Dja Biosphere Reserve, OKALE Robert challenged the judgment in default No. 244 / COR of 12/08/2015 by the Court of First Instance of Djoum concerning the accused persons Djadaye Lucie and Eteme Eloundou Celestin.

Following preliminary investigations by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused EBATTE NSONO Polycarpe was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of a protected animal species.

On the 05 May 1989, the accused EDIMO Daniel was summoned before the Court of First Instance, Djoum by the State Attorney to respond to the charge of killing protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting.

On the 12 September 2010, the accused persons ELA ALO'O Christian and ENBWANG MENYE Galax were arrested in BIYI-EFACK by agents of the conservation service of the divisional delegation of MINFOF in possession of seven (07) turtle shells including 03 marine and 04 forests in a store in the village of BIYI EFACK.
