On 23/10/2013, the two accused persons were found in possession of one piece of lion skin at Kiroreri village within Bunda District. The accused were caught after the wildlife warden and police men that were on operation received information that there were two persons transferring government trophy and were using a motorbike.

On 13th April, 2011 at Mnyamasi area within Mpanda District, the accused persons were arraigned and found in unlawful possession of government trophies. A charge of unlawful possession was brought against the accused person before the court. The accused persons were acquitted.

On 17th April, 2008 at Rukwa Lukwati Forest Reserve within Mpanda District the accused person was arraigned and found in unlawful possession of government trophies. Then brought before the court to answer a charge. The accused was convicted.

Sometimes on 14th April, 2007 at Kibaoni village within Mpanda District found being in unlawful possession of government trophies. Then brought before the court to answer a charge. The accused was convicted.

Sometimes on 9th October, 2013 at Mnyamasi village within Mpanda District in Katavi Region the accused persons were arraigned and found in unlawful possession of government trophies. Then brought before the court to answer the charge. The first accused was acquitted and the second accused was convicted.

The appellant Ahmad Mshamu was on 13/06/2002 convicted by Newala District Court on a charge of four counts. Among them, two were on unlawful possession of fire arms and other two counts were on unlawful possession of government trophies contrary to the law. He appealed the decision.

On the 11th day of march 2015, at around 07.45 hours during city search in Mwanza, the accused was arrested for practicing as a traditional healer without being registered. She was further found in possession of 4 wildebeest tails, 1 piece of grey headed king fisher, two pieces of lion’s skin and one piece of duiker skin.

The accused person on 20 March 2015 at Chanumba Village in Chamwino District in Dodoma Region, was found in possession of crocodile skin, pangolin skin, lion nail and two dik-dik teeth. The accused was found guilty.

The accused was arraigned before Mpanda District Court for unlawful possession of government trophy. The accused was found guilty.
