In July 2015, Mboyo Ilitch found himself inside Ignoli forest with a war weapon for a hunting expedition with two other hunters. At the same time an ecoguards’ team was patrolling in the area and faced the hunters and Mboyo was apprehended.

On March 12, 2004 at Kabo, during a period when hunting is prohibited, Mbatidi Jean went to the forest for hunting and without any authorization, killed a gorilla, a fully protected species, with a PMAK type war weapon. Then he voluntarily extracted from the gorilla two fingers of his right hand.

During March 2011, Mbango Djima Joseph, resident in Baye, was in the Mokabi ring road, accompanied by three locals to practice hunting. Having remained alone in the camp, while the latter had gone to Lopola to look for cigarettes, he was arrested by a patrol of eco-guards in possession of 38 small hunting cartridges and a clandestine weapon.

The accused wanted to make a living through big game hunting. To this end, DISSAKA Daring handed over a war weapon and two full loaders, with which he had killed an elephant in the past, to MIWAYE Nesty, who in turn used them to kill two elephants.

Jean Claude Lofana returned to the Kabo forest from Pokola with 06 double zero cartridges and a Baibal rifle on him. By returning to the hunt the next evening, he manages to kill four monkeys belonging to the species known as Colobe. On his return from the camp, he was apprehended by the eco-guards.

In February 2014, the Odzala-Kokoua national park anti-poaching service was informed that Lamine Djafil bought two ivory tusks from a former eco-guard named Dial Hugues, also known as Loufombo. Lamine Djafil also bought a war weapon type SKS from an eco-guard named Meyal.

Libende Mbelo Désiré and Elango Romain, two individuals from DRC living at Pokola, established a camp at Ngombe forest where they used to set traps. In December 2004, Libende Mbelo Désiré and Elango Romain were caught by water and forest officers at a period during which hunting was prohibited in Congo.

Libiesse Leon is a Congolese individual living in Pokola. On February 23, 2012 he entered the forest with a calibre 12 rifle to do small hunting. While there he killed one chimpanzee on February 25. Back in Pokola, he hid the meat inside a bag in his house.

Kouadjo Benjamin bought a war weapon with the intention of killing any animal that crossed his path. On June 28, 2020 he was caught by rangers at Endjoubou forest.

In 2018, Kouabouanga Roger, cultivating a 4 hectare field, was informed about the establishment of the Ntokou-Pikounda National Park in the said area and a one month's notice was set to leave the premises and for the harvest.
