On the 27 August 2016, elements of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Gribi were on a wildlife control mission. A saviem car belonging to the transportation agency called Alliance Voyages, leaving for the town of Bertoua was intercepted by the elements for checks.
On the 4 June 2016, elements of the conservation service of the Forestry and Wildlife control post, Koumela, received reliable information about an ongoing illegal activity in the quarter of Nouveau Camp-Libongo.
On the 18 July 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park organized an anti-poaching patrol with the objective of arresting poachers in the park.
On the 1 August 2015, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park organized an anti-poaching patrol in the said park and its peripheries. Following this patrol, the elements proceeded to arrest five (5) poachers camping in the forest, in SAFARI Lobeke.
On the 16 April 2013, elements of the conservation service of the Boumba Bek National Park arrested the accused, NKOMBO MPEKA Gerard in the hunting zone of Libongo, of the Boumba Bek National park, a protected area in possession of parts of totally protected animal species, notably Gorilla, Chimpanzee and Deer.
On the 29 April 2016, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve carried out an anti-poaching patrol in the Forest Management Unit of Mpacko (UFA Mpacko). In this regard, they arrested the accused persons, Mvomo Meka and Essiane Pamphille with parts of Chimpanzee, Monkeys, Bay Duikers, Pangolins and other protected animal species.
On the 15 May 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused Akouya Freddy in the locality of Nguilili, arrested the accused in possession of two elephant ivories. The accused admitted ownership of the said ivories and confessed.
On the 3 July 2016, elements of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Ngatto carried a wildlife control mission. The accused was intercepted and they proceeded to search his bags. They discovered 6 pieces of smoked Gorilla meat, 2 Peter Duikers side meat, 01 smoked Blue Duiker, and 19 feathers of African Grey Parrots.
On the 21 November 2012, the accused, Mendomo Cecile gave ammunitions to the co-offender Mbane Simon to poach elephants. He killed an elephant and stripped off its ivory tusks. On returning home, he was arrested by elements of the Wildlife and Forestry control post of Mintom, while looking to sell the ivories and discard the gun.
In June 2019, an elephant was reported killed in the North of the Dja Biosphere reserve in a village called Doumo-Pierre. Following this, the elements of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife Haut Nyong, arrested the accused Mebihi Daniel, an infamous poacher specialized in Elephant and Great apes poaching.
