In July 2019, Makaya Lobila Rozin was returning from a small hunting expedition with his brother during which they have killed two blue duikers and one monkey. They heard some noises of a heard of monkeys. As they were going to the place where the noise was coming from they came across a gorilla.
Manou Severin is resident in Pokola. In July 2016, Manou Severin was contacted by his brother Germain Mangondo Brice to do big hunting. On July 20, 2016 together with Mangondo and Zacharie they went to the forest for hunting.
Matokolo Lambert is a Congolese individual who has already been condemned for killing of totally protected animals. In August 2017 together with one known as Makabe, he organized a big hunting expedition. When they arrived at the village Mokouangonda, the two henchmen entered the forest and hunted with one war weapon and ammunition.
During the year 2016, Akoundoum Mappo Paul organized a big hunting expedition. He then contacted Mbembe Maurice to whom he gave one war weapon and ammunition and put him in contact with brother-in-law Eboumeyong Patrick. In the meantime Ndzala Rémy associated with them working for his boss Ibeke Cubain.
In April 2016, Mboka Fulgence on instructions of his mother gave a hunting rifle to Medoung Faustin, Ngbema Antoine and others for a small hunting expedition. Once in the forest, Medoung Faustin collected one war weapon hidden in the forest camp. He saw two elephants and killed one while the second one charged and killed him.
On August 20, 2016, Mekazoe César and Mbembe Eric, two Congolese DRC individuals resident in Ouesso took a taxi at Motonda village to Ouesso. At the PK17 check point, they were arrested by rangers with a suitcase containing four ivory tusks.
On October 14, 2012, Bozembe Bruno together with one known as Alain killed one totally protected animal (elephant) and removed his tusks. On their way back, they came across rangers who arrested Bozembe while Alain ran away. In September 2012, Mekedi Lionel alias Malaire together with one known as Yoka Leddy killed totally protected animals.
In February 2017, Medoulou Hermann and Oyono Jean Louis were planning to organize a big hunting expedition. They went to find one hunter known as Sandoukou on the Cameroon side. They went together with Sandoukou to the forest on the Gabon side where the latter killed at least two elephants and went back to take his wife before coming back.
Migouo Rémy and Djamboth Jean René are parents who used to carry out big hunting and are resident at Mielekouka and Seka (Sangha division). In February 2017, they went to the forest where they used one PMAK weapon to kill one elephant and come back to the village.
