In 2018, Manzongo Freddy returned from DRC with a PMAK war weapon. In November 2019, he and some friends killed three elephants. Some time later, Manzongo Freddy lent his gun to two of his friends who killed an elephant. The case caused a stir in the village and the accused fled to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
On 4th September 2019, the services of the conservation and biodiversity sector of the NOUABALE-NDOKI park were informed of the fact that a Central African subject was holding ivory points in his hand, which he had buried in the ground. They went to the scene and proceeded to search his home.
In March 2010, the wildlife and protected areas services of the Likouala forest economy department, together with the Impfondo gendarmerie services, arrested Ebongo Antoine who was in possession of two ivory tips which he claimed to have bought from a DRC national.
In June 2014, the eco-Guard service patrol mission of the Nouabele Ndoki Park, caught Elanga Richard in possession of a PMAK type war weapon with a charger and the trophies of an elephant at the camp.
In May 2014, the management service of the Nouabele-Ndoki park in their routine missions, apprehended Bokaka Lame in the camp after having killed an elephant.
