In February 2013, APONGNWU LINUS a taxi driver conducted one known as Peguy both Cameroonians to several destinations until the latter met with three individuals who put a black bag in the back boot of his taxi. He recognized one of them as MOFOR Ernest.
In October 2016 at Oyem, ESSONO BIYOGHE Edouard was in possession of two leopard skins when he was caught by judiciary police agents of Woleu-Ntem. During his interrogation, he admitted the facts and declared that the skins were given to him by the father-in-law of his daughter for sale.
On April 06, 2018 at Minvoul, ETOME MENGARA Gilbert gave a rifle firearm and six bullets to one known as NZE NANG to kill elephants, while the latter has no permit to carry a firearm and was not covered by any insurance.
On April 11, 2018, MOUELE NZAMBA Serge Gildas went to a hotel at Mitzic with a bag containing two ivory tusks in order to meet a potential buyer. While there, he was caught gendarmerie agents in possession of the tusks.
On June 26, 2012 at Ebang Essandone, gendarmes of the Kye-Ossi brigade arrested BIYOGHE ONDO Boris Francis on board of a vehicle going to Kye-Ossi (Cameroon). After a search of the vehicle, they discovered two bags containing 17 ivory pieces and two ivory tusks in the back boot.
During the night of 21 to 22 June 2016 at around 4:00am, gendarmes of the Mitzic brigade patrolling at the Zomoko check point on Mitzic-Larara road controlled the vehicle of Allongifor Emmanuel a Cameroonian. During the search they found ten ivory tusks hidden.
On October 30, 2017 at Minvoul, following an information on the killing of two elephants, agents of the Minkebe national park arrested ASSOMO Yannick then NGOYEB Robert in possession of four ivory tusks while they were trying to escape before asking the agents to settle the case.
On June 23, 2015, MBENG EYI David Donald informed NDONG NSI Jean François of his desire to sell ivory tusks belonging to his later father in order to solve his financial problems. MBENG then gave the said products to NDONG. Arrested later on following a denunciation, NDONG declared to have received the tusks from MBENG.
From April to July 2018, Danyan J., Guohua W. and Jinxia S. drove several times to Shaowu and Wuyi Mountain to hunt birds. Among them, Danyan J. and Guohua W. were responsible for shooting birds, and Jinxia S. was responsible for driving and selling birds at a price ranging from 15 yuan to 50 yuan to many restaurants and individuals.
From May to July 2018, Dingbiao X. illegally purchased wild heron birds at a price ranging from 40 yuan to 50 yuan from Sun (sentenced) and others, and the birds were used in restaurants to process into dishes for customers. Dingbiao X. paid 4160 yuan for the purchase of wild birds (dead bodies) to Sun through Wechat transfer seven times.
