On the 22 July 2008, elements of the forestry and wildlife control post of Mintom organized a control check. During this control, the accused persons NSAH MEBA & AMVAME Brice Macaire were arrested in possession of 12 pieces of gorilla meat, 4 dog legs, and 4 monkeys.

On the 21 September 1987, the accused NOAH was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance Djoum to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species. That in the month of July 1987, Noah was found in illegal detention of the remains of protected animals species, either killed or captured during a period when hunting is closed.

Following preliminary investigations by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused NNANGA Nsolo Simon was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of an elephant. That on September 21, 1988 in Mintom he was arrested for illegal killing an elephant with a firearm, without a hunting permit.

On the 14 June 1993, the accused NOUBETEH Samuel was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance Djoum to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species.

On the 27 October 2006, the accused NYUZEU was summoned before the court of First Instance, Djoum to respond to charges of illegal detention and circulation of trophies of protected animal species within the national territory without authorisation; killing and violation of a forestry control barriers.

On 13 July 2011, the accused persons NTYAME ENDANGTE Jislin and EVA EVA Mathurin went to the forest in NKOLAFENDECK to hunt. They also invited a certain MOTO David Livingstone to accompany them to carry this act. On the first day of hunting, they killed an elephant.

On the 14 December 1988, the accused ONGBA Salomon Bachelin was summoned to appear before the Court to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species. That on the 30/08/1989 in Mintom, he killed protected animal species in a zone prohibited from hunting.

The accused persons VOS Christopher and CHINGO Zachari were prosecuted before Court of First Instance, Djoum, for complicity, illegal detention of trophies of protected animal species and firearm. On the 22 November 2011, the court passed judgement.

On the 26 August 2006, the accused TCHATCHET Nicole was arrested flagrante delicto in the Bafoussam market in possession of two (02) leopard skins without any legal justification ( certificate of origin). During interrogation as well as before the State Attorney, she pleaded guilty and acknowledged committing the offence as reproached.
