Following the order of the examining magistrate on the 27 June 2016 and at the request of the State Attorney, the accused persons MVONDO Jean, KPWOMBO Marcel, AKONO KEA, TASSI Jean Paul, FOUMANE NAOMIE Rose, NLEME YEME NNA Marie, DOUMVE Dina and BEZENGUE Bienvenu were summoned before the court of First Instance, Djoum to answer charges of illega

The accused MBIA David was summoned to appear before the Court to answer charges of Illegal detention and circulation of a war arm, illegal detention and circulation of trophies of totally protected animal species without a certificate of origin and hunting of totally protected animal species when hunting periods are closed.

The accused MBIA David was prosecuted before the Court of First Instance Djoum for hunting without a license or authorization, killing of totally protected animal species and illegal detention of hunting weapons.

Elements of the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere Reserve organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the reserve. The accused, Mbo Francis was arrested in illegal possession of thirteen (13) Bay duikers, a locally manufactured gun and ammunitions in a zone prohibited from hunting.

The accused Mbole Mireille was prosecuted before the Court of First Instance Sangmelima for the illegal killing of protected animals and contempt of public servants. On October 11, 2016, judgement was passed.

Elements of the forestry and wildlife control post and elements of the national police Djoum, seized the three pairs of ivories weighing 62kg in a Mercedes truck registered LT-6987-P belonging to the co-offender CHINGO Zacharie and driven by the accused FONDZEBAM Nasuru during their usual control checks.

The accused FOTSA Olivier Colince was summoned before the Court of First Instance, Djoum to answer charges of illegal detention of firearm and ammunitions; detention and circulation of trophies of class A totally protected animal species; and complicity to hunting without permit or license.

The accused was issued a summons by the State Attorney and served by a bailiff, to appear before the court to respond to charges of killing totally protected animal species. That on the 09 June 1990, the accused GUM Richard NGUM was arrested in Mintom II for killing protected animal species in a zone prohibited from poaching.

On the 27 June 2018, the accused HAWA was arrested in the MADA neighbourhood in BERTOUA by elements of the Gendarmerie Legion, East during a search at her home. She was arrested in possession of two (2) elephant ivories.

The accused Ihmbru Elias Kudi was arrested flagrante delicto in the locality of Mbotokong. He was found in possession of a hunting weapon and ammunitions without the relevant documents.
