MEDOU Paul Alex was arrested in Campo Ma'an National Park in possession of a bay duiker and a porcupine that he killed in the park during a hunting party.

Following a preliminary investigation by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused BODO Ramy Gallus was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species.

On the 1st October 2014, elements of the conservation service of the divisional delegation of Ntem, South Region received reliable information about the illicit trafficking of wildlife products in the town.
