In violation of the state regulations on the protection of rare and endangered wild animals, defendants Aimin Z., Nan L., Jie W., Dongdong H., Dalin H., Zhi W., Jiangtao G., Xiyuan L., Gao W., Zhengwen L., Yu D., Jing T., Xueyi W., Tengyan Xu., and Shuo Ch.
On the 3rd September 2015, the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve arrested the accused persons, Bekono Aline & Ella Belinga Chancelin during an anti-poaching patrol. They were arrested on their motorbike carrying freshly killed 1 yellow bay duiker, 2 mandrills and a smoked Agile Mangabey.
On the 21st July 2011, the head of the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service received reliable anonymous information on an ongoing illegal wildlife trade in that zone.

On the night of 23rd March 2009, OYIE BAHNA Salomon was caught red-handed in DJENABO (a locality situated on the Djoum-Mintom road) by the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents. He was in possession of twelve (12) Gorillas parts, six (6) Mandrillus part and nine (9) Water Chevrotain parts.
Following a preliminary investigation by the State Attorney of the Court of First Instance, Djoum the accused BODO Ramy Gallus was summoned to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species.
The accused ABA Jean Didier, was arrested in March 2016 flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service in illegal possession of 04 Gorilla skulls, 08 Chimpanzee skulls, 02 Wart Hog skulls and 01 Mandrill skull. He was arrested in Mengong, Ebolowa in the South Region.
The accused persons DIPAMBA JEAN and NDINTEH Georges were arrested flagrante delicto in the TONGA market in possession of trophies of class A totally protected animal species notably 01 Mandrill skull, 01 Elephant jawbone and thighbone.
