Elements of the conservation service of the Divisional Delegation of Boumba and Ngoko organized an anti-poaching patrol mission in the Lobeke National park, Moloundou sector. During this mission, the accused MBIENDE Giscard was arrested with protected animal species.

The accused NAMEIBIO Delaine was arrested by elements of the conservation service in Mbol 12, a protected zone. She was found in possession of Gorilla and Deer meat. Upon arrest, she could not legally back up her presence in the protected area and the possession of totally protected animal species.

On the night of 23rd March 2009, OYIE BAHNA Salomon was caught red-handed in DJENABO (a locality situated on the Djoum-Mintom road) by the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents. He was in possession of twelve (12) Gorillas parts, six (6) Mandrillus part and nine (9) Water Chevrotain parts.

On the 25 August 2015 in the locality of Pouma, elements of the conservation service arrested the accused, BITJOKA Jean Marie in illegal possession of skulls of chimpanzees, gorillas and other unidentified monkeys. He was about to commercialize them at the time of his arrest and was void of any identity document.

The accused persons were caught flagrante delicto in possession and circulation of the remains of a totally protected class A animal specie, specifically gorilla. As per the accused, BISSO Patrick, he went into the forest to carry out hunting.

The accused ABA Jean Didier, was arrested in March 2016 flagrante delicto by elements of the conservation service in illegal possession of 04 Gorilla skulls, 08 Chimpanzee skulls, 02 Wart Hog skulls and 01 Mandrill skull. He was arrested in Mengong, Ebolowa in the South Region.

The accused ABOLO EKOMANE Martin Festin was summoned to appear before the Court to respond to charges of poaching protected animal species on the 27 January 1993 in Djoum. That he was arrested by forces of law and order in possession of three (03) gorilla thighs, three (03) monkey thighs and a hare without a certificate of origin.

Mr OKALE Robert, head of the South antenna of the Dja biosphere reserve received reliable information from informal sources admitting that unidentified individuals were about to carry out an illegal transaction involving trophies of totally protected animals species at the Jeannette hostel located in the Etoile district in Djoum.

On the 1st October 2014, elements of the conservation service of the divisional delegation of Ntem, South Region received reliable information about the illicit trafficking of wildlife products in the town. Following this information and together with the gendarmerie, they proceeded to arrest the accused ELLA Minko Pierre at Hotel Sispens.

The accused persons LEFIDI AYISSI and SALLA epse NGONO NOMO Sydonie Anique were summoned by the State Attorney to appear before the Court to answer charges of complicity in the illegal detention of a totally protected class A animal species, a dead Gorilla.
