On October 30, 2017 at Minvoul, following an information on the killing of two elephants, agents of the Minkebe national park arrested ASSOMO Yannick then NGOYEB Robert in possession of four ivory tusks while they were trying to escape before asking the agents to settle the case.
On June 23, 2015, MBENG EYI David Donald informed NDONG NSI Jean François of his desire to sell ivory tusks belonging to his later father in order to solve his financial problems. MBENG then gave the said products to NDONG. Arrested later on following a denunciation, NDONG declared to have received the tusks from MBENG.
On the material date, at 22.00 hrs at Tingirima village within Bunda District in Mara Region, the accused was found in the possession of skins of dik-dik, two pieces of dried meat of the wildebeest and a piece of elephant tusk, after an emergence search in his house, a house owned by his mother and elder brother while he was sleeping.
On 17/03/2012, the game officers at Ikorongo Grumeti Game reserve heard bullets loud fired in the game reserve by unknown persons. The game officers then traced the poachers but didn’t find them.

On December 13, 2018, following an information on a ivory tusks and leopard skins trafficking to take place in a hotel near Akoakam stadium, water and forests officers went to the place and found MEVI-MEVI Christopher, DRAMANE SAWADOGO, BANSE Idrissa.
Following an information on a trade in ivory tusks about to take place at Oyem, water and forests agents together the judiciary police arrested on November 20, 2014, MBA OWONO Sylvain in his vehicle together with MEZUI ME NDONG Gérôme and one known ADAMA.
