Elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused persons KAKOU Marcel and ITEH Ghislain in possession of protected class A, B and C animal parts. During interrogations, they acknowledged committing the offences as charged.
LAMBI Sévérin was arrested in LOBEKE national park, a protected area, in possession of carcasses of class B protected animals species, in particular Deer meat. Upon his arrest, he gave no legal explanation for his presence in this park, and could not justify the possession of these protected animal species he was caught with.
Elements of the conservation service of the Boumba Bek National park and the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Salapoumbe were informed about the killing of an elephant in the park. Further investigation led to the arrest of the accused persons, KOLONGO Rene, LIBAYA Francis and NGANDJIBOLO Nestor.

MENTAYE Felicien a Central African was arrested by elements of the conservation service in the vicinity of the Lobeke National Park. He was found without a visa or passport and killed totally protected animals without any authorization. During interrogations, he acknowledged committing the offences as charged and pleaded guilty.
MGBAKO Jean Paul a Central African was arrested by elements of the conservation service without a visa or passport. He was arrested for hunting with a firearm which he had no authorization. At the moment of his arrest, he was in possession of duiker carcass, a protected animal species of class ”C”.
Mpendotoubo Guy Anicet was caught red-handed by eco guards in the Lobeke National Park. He was found in possession of a 12 caliber hunting gun and carcasses of blue duikers which he killed during a hunting party conducted without a permit. Till the end of the preliminary investigation, he was unable to present his National Identity Card.
The accused NAMEIBIO Delaine was arrested by elements of the conservation service in Mbol 12, a protected zone. She was found in possession of Gorilla and Deer meat. Upon arrest, she could not legally back up her presence in the protected area and the possession of totally protected animal species.
