MGBAKO Jean Paul a Central African was arrested by elements of the conservation service without a visa or passport. He was arrested for hunting with a firearm which he had no authorization. At the moment of his arrest, he was in possession of duiker carcass, a protected animal species of class ”C”.

Mpendotoubo Guy Anicet was caught red-handed by eco guards in the Lobeke National Park. He was found in possession of a 12 caliber hunting gun and carcasses of blue duikers which he killed during a hunting party conducted without a permit. Till the end of the preliminary investigation, he was unable to present his National Identity Card.

The accused NAMEIBIO Delaine was arrested by elements of the conservation service in Mbol 12, a protected zone. She was found in possession of Gorilla and Deer meat. Upon arrest, she could not legally back up her presence in the protected area and the possession of totally protected animal species.

NGAMA Jean Claude entered the LOBEKE National Park and killed a pangolin and duikers, class B protected animal species. During interrogations, he acknowledged committing the offence as charged and pleaded guilty. At the close of interrogations, he was transmitted before the State Attorney for prosecution.

Elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park organized a sweep operation. During this operation, several poachers were arrested; including NJOUMENI AMIDOU who was in possession of a bag containing carcasses of protected animal species of classes B & C.

On the 09 December 2010 at ”Marché de Fleurs” in Douala, a team from the Littoral Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife arrested NKOUTENGAM ABOUBAKAR in possession of a Leopard skin which he was selling. During interrogations, he admitted to having been found in illegal possession of a Leopard skin which he was about to sell.

On the 07 August 2018 in the locality of Zoulabot Ancien, eco-guards arrested the accused for hunting in a protected area. During this hunt, a young elephant was killed by MADJONGO Jean who escaped and was under chase, and the ivories taken by the chief of the Zoulabot Ancien locality.

Elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused Soule Ibrahim in the buffer zone of the Park with a hunting gun and 05 ammunitions with the intention of poaching. During interrogations, he pleaded guilty and acknowledged that he intended to poach reason why he was found in the protected area with the arms.

On the 21st October 2012 in the locality of Socambo, elements of the gendarmerie station, informed of the occurrence of a hunting accident, arrested SOUSSAI Pierre in possession of a hunting gun and 12-caliber ammunition. Upon his arrest, the accused confessed that he had injured LEWEWE Vincent in the forest during a hunting party.

Elements of the conservation service of the western antenna of the Dja biosphere reserve received reliable information about some ongoing illegal trafficking activity in that zone. Following this information, the elements went to the ANDO'O EBAE area in Meyomessala where the accused, AKO'O BITOUNOU was arrested.
