Jean Claude Lofana returned to the Kabo forest from Pokola with 06 double zero cartridges and a Baibal rifle on him. By returning to the hunt the next evening, he manages to kill four monkeys belonging to the species known as Colobe. On his return from the camp, he was apprehended by the eco-guards.
Libiesse Leon is a Congolese individual living in Pokola. On February 23, 2012 he entered the forest with a calibre 12 rifle to do small hunting. While there he killed one chimpanzee on February 25. Back in Pokola, he hid the meat inside a bag in his house.
On the 14 June 1993, the accused ONVA ELLA Emmanuel was summoned to appear before the Court of First Instance Djoum to respond to charges of illegal killing of protected animal species. That in the month of November 1991, he killed a chimpanzee in an area prohibited from hunting.
On the 27 November 2014, the accused Ondj'ii Nguema Pierre Clovis was arrested flagrante delicto in Meyo-Centre, by elements of the regional control brigade of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. The accused was arrested in possession of 08 chimpanze skulls, and 01 gorilla skull.
On the 21 March 2007, the accused persons NTSY ELOUA Heriot, ELLA Francis and BISSEGUEI Bolamo Francis were arrested in Messock by elements of the conservation service. They were found in possession of three chimpanzees and other dead animal species. The first accused person, NTSY ELOUA Heriot was never identified.
On the August 29 2017 the accused OBA'A ABOUTOU Celestin was arrested in Ebolowa by elements of the conservation service. He was arrested in possession of class A and B protected animal species, notably a baby chimpanzee and a bag weighing 5kg of pangolin scales.

That in the month of March 1987, she was arrested during a routine control check by elements of the gendarmerie brigade and the chief of the forestry post in Oveng.
On the 03 February 2011, the accused NJAFA NJAMEN Gislain was arrested in Bangangte by elements of the Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife. He was arrested in possession of a live chimpanzee without a certificate of origin.
On June 25, 2015, in the Mboukou forest, the service of the eco-guards of the community reserve of Télé was on mission and surprised Mondomba Jean Pierre and Bonikaka Jean Noel in possession of a gorilla and three chimpanzees.
