On July 29, 2016, Yaya Mboubouti Venia Steve left Matoto to Pokola. On his way, he was suddenly stopped by two local indigenous people who proposed him to buy ivory tusks. Interested, he bought four tusks at XAF 125,000 over the XAF 200,000 that was fixed by the sellers.
