In July 2012, the accused GBAMAN Benjamin confiscated four (04) elephant ivories seized by elements of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife, Yokadouma and kept in their premises. The accused denied the allegations claiming he was not in town and could not have possibly confiscated the ivories putting up a defense alibi.

In February 2017, the accused Djembo Paul acting on the account of Mogbwe Godefroy gave two (02) baby elephant ivories to the co-offender Djibril Karibou. The two had a misunderstanding and the former requested the services of his cohort the named Sameloe Dieudonné who dressed as an Ecoguard, proceeded to seize the ivory tusks.

On 9 July 2015, elements of the conservation service organized a sweep operation in the Forestry Management Unit N°10007 in the forest of Bekasi. During this operation, the accused MBOUTOU Pierre was arrested with two (02) hunting guns and ammunitions in the said zone.

In September 2015, elements of the special police force received information from an informant about illegal detention of war arms & ammunitions by the accused persons Mikomidoum, Sobga and Djaourou in the sub divisions of Salapoumbe, Moloundou and Libongo. The said war arms were bound for large scale poaching.

In December 2012, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused MBE Gaston, in the said park in possession of an arm & ammunitions with the intention of poaching. During interrogation, he accepted responsibility and acknowledged committing the offences as charged.

On the 17 June 2018, elements of the customs service in Lokomo arrested the accused DJOULI MBARGA Florine following a daily checkpoint routine in that zone. The elements stopped a public transportation bus leaving the zone in which the accused was aboard. She was found in possession of a bag containing 4 elephant ivories weighing 1kg each.

On the 30 May 2017, elements of the conservation service organized a sweep anti-poaching operation in the locality of T9 in Libongo. During this operation, the accused BOUKAR ALHADJI OUMAR was arrested flagrante delicto in possession of 12 Ivory tusks.

On the 29 November 2015, elements of the conservation service the accused persons BALAYE Jonas and BADOUA Florent in Libongo in possession of elephant meat. The accused BALAYE claimed a Baka, an indigenous person, invited him to a usual hunting activity. The said Baka gave him the elephant meat, which he shared with the co-offender BADOUA.

In October 2015, ENDELE NNANGA Léonce Fernand organized a hunting expedition in the AYINA forest composed of 9 individuals to whom he gave provisions, arm, and ammunitions for the killing of elephants for tusks extraction. This expedition team included trackers, porters, cooks, shooters.

In 2018, the accused MOUATCHO Kameni was arrested by elements of the East Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife in Betare-Oya with 36.6 kilogrammes of Pangolins scales, five (5) Hippopotamus teeth, 01 elephant tusk and two (2) African Python skins).
