Zhiyong W. and Xinchun Z.(separate case), together with Zhiping W., Shiming L., went to Maoming City, Guangdong Province to purchase in batches of 2304.84 kg ivory smuggled from Africa from smugglers Kangwen W. and Haiqiang O.
On April 14, 2017, Xiaoli M. contacted foreign personnel named Baicunlin in Egypt to buy ivory products, and paid RMB 54,000 to Baicunlin on the 25th of the same month. On May 28, 2017, Xiaoli M. was arrested on the spot when receiving the international parcel with the order number CP700164140EG at the Bayi Road Post Branch of Xining City.
At 17:00 on April 9, 2017, the defendant Guangming C. departed from Lusaka, Republic of Zambia, and transferred via Addis Ababa, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and arrived at Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport.
In July 2014, Jinsong H. in partnership with Huang Mou 2, Xie Mou 1, "A Mou" (all handled separately), purchased a batch of rhino horns in South Africa, which were sold by Xie Mou 1 after smuggling into China. In early November 2014, Jinsong H.

On February 6, 2015, the defendant Min H. flew to Shanghai Pudong International Airport on flight ET684, and chose to go through the non-declaration channel when entering the country, and did not declare any items to the customs.
Peilong S. and Guo (sentenced) purchased ivory products during their trip to Africa and hid them in containers such as potato chip boxes, milk powder cans, coffee cans, etc., and placed them in Peilong S.'s purple trolley case for entry. Guo and Peilong S.
