On the 09 May 2011, during a mission in the Dja Biosphere Reserve consisting of putting rings on elephants, the South Antenna of the Dja conservation service agents and the WWF caught red-handed OKPWA’A David, AKOULOU Achille Noel with unidentified others persons who succeeded to escape, in a hunting party with a prohibited arm.

In 2018, the accused MOUATCHO Kameni was arrested by elements of the East Regional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife in Betare-Oya with 36.6 kilogrammes of Pangolins scales, five (5) Hippopotamus teeth, 01 elephant tusk and two (2) African Python skins).

On March 17, 2014, in Mindourou, the eco-guards of the Divisional Delegation of Forestry and Wildlife of Upper-Nyong arrested the accused Mpoul John Stephane with elephant skulls and jawbones he had collected two days before in the forest without any prior administrative authorization.

NDJOYA Felix, BIAKAN Bertrand, BALOKA Greffi got into the park of Boumba in Salapoumbe with an AK47 and ammunitions to carry out hunting. During this activity, one of the elephants shot by the accused Biakan charged towards him seriously wounding the latter.

In 2018, the accused persons NDOUM France Willy, NAMOUDOU Jean Pierre & MINDOUM Achille were arrested and prosecuted before the Military Court for the illegal detention of trophies of protected animal species (Elephant) and war arms (kalachnikov) and 48 ammunitions.

NGOUALONG KUETE Ebenezer Felicien was sentenced six (6) months suspended imprisonment terms within three (3) years, to pay 268,325XAF for fines & costs and 907.500 XAF as damages to the State of Cameroon represented by the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife.

In December 2013, the chief of Forestry and Wildlife control post of Lomié with one of his agents, proceeded to arrest OUM Paul Guy Merlin and OWONA Max Richelieu in a vehicle belonging to the Ngoyla municipality. After searching the vehicle, 02 ivory tusks were seized.

Elements of the national public security of Moloundou arrested the accused persons with an AK47 and 10 war ammunitions. The accused NDOREMBAI ELOI, HAMIDOU and SIBALE used the war arm to kill an elephant and stole items from a certain ETOUI Abessolo Marcel. The co-offender Bouba Philomene hid the stolen items.

In 2016, elements of the Military forces and the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife of the Boumba and Ngoko Division organized a joint anti-poaching patrol mission and seizure of war arms. During this operation, they arrested the accused LIME Emile in possession of a war arm of Mark MAS 36.

In January 2014, Forestry and Wildlife elements of the Upper Nyong division arrested the accused flagrante delicto in illegal possession of an elephant tusk and two pieces of elephant meat. He did not also possess his National Identity Card at the time of arrest. During interrogation, the accused admitted to committing the offences as charged.
