On the 12 December 2014, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused during a usual patrol routine along the Salapoumbe-Ngatto highway with a bag containing 4 Ivory tusks and 30 pieces of smoked elephant meat. The accused acknowledged ownership of the trophies and accepted responsibility.

On the 17 August 2013, elements of the conservation service in collaboration with the World Wide Fund of Nature arrested the accused Madi Boulama during an anti-poaching patrol. He was arrested in the quarter called Quartier Newton, in possession of two (2) ivory tusks cut in four pieces, placed in his car.

In April 2015, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park arrested the accused BOUSSE AKOUYA David, NAMADJOU Hugues, NGOMBE Freddy in the park after killing an elephant and extracting its ivories. They were found in possession of two (2) ivories, an arm & ammunitions, and an elephant tail.

On the 22 November 2015, the accused was arrested by an anti-poaching patrol team with 01 War arm & ammunitions, 4 Elephant tails and three Elephant meat. He admitted all the offences as charged and added that his arrest was facilitated by his ill health which rendered him incapable of hunting with his peers on that day.

On the 30 June 2017, elements of the conservation service of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Ngatto, intercepted a white Toyota pick-up heading to Yokadouma during a usual check point routine in that zone. They caused the passengers to step down so they could thoroughly search the car.

On the 8 November 2017, elements of the conservation service of the Lobeke National Park organized an anti-poaching patrol in the said park. Three different teams were dispatched into the park for this purpose. The second team arrested the accused flagrante delicto together with other individuals in a camping well installed in the park.

On the 8 October 2017, elements of the Forestry and Wildlife control post of Kika arrested the accused MFOMBURE MAMA following a daily checkpoint routine in that zone. He was found in possession of two (02) ivory tusks.

On the night of 27 July 2016, the accused Zakari Daouda Ayatou was intercepted by the conservation service of the Dja Biosphere reserve, in his car driving towards the town of Sangmélima, attempting to smuggle out 14 Ivory tusks. He confessed ownership of the said ivories during interrogation.

The accused was arrested by elements of the forestry and wildlife control post in a vehicle. He was the driver of the said vehicle. The elements proceeded to search the vehicle while searching the vehicle he behaved suspicious. Based on this the elements proceeded to search goods. A parcel was uncovered containing 16 Ivory tusks.

In January 2013, the accused persons KOMBO, NGOUKI & MABOULE took up war arms and ammunitions (Kalashnikov) and went to the Dja Biosphere reserve to poach elephants. Upon getting to the zone, they were lodged by Ngbwah Herman who also oriented them on how to poach elephants.
